Oscillatory Methods: Part 1- Part 3 was formerly known as ‘Ed’s Good Vibes.’ If you are an ANB alumni, you know this class well. Throughout the years we have gotten multiple requests from students and teachers to repeat this class. Well, here’s your chance! We are offering this class as a three part series. If you register for all three classes, you will receive a slight discount. In this series, you will learn to massage your clients with light vibrations, shaking, rocking, and holding.

Oscillatory Methods: extremities

Learn advanced tri-planar techniques to facilitate joint motion, ligament and soft tissue health, and muscular proprioception for both the upper and lower extremities. Locomotion and activities of work and play are what it is all about.




Ed has been a Massage Therapist specializing in clinical approaches to orthopedic and injury related pain and dysfunction since 1995 with an emphasis in neck and shoulder injuries. He has been a Massage Therapy Instructor since 2003 and has taught the entire (now old 300 hour) massage curriculum to hundreds of students and was twice awarded for teaching excellence. His advanced educational background includes: Therapeutic Touch, St. John Neuromuscular Therapy, Cranial-Sacral Therapy, Somato-Emotional Release, Myofascial Release, Trager, Strain-counterstrain, and Ortho-bionomy. Realizing the strong mind-body and emotional connection to pain and disease, in 1998 he certified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and later as an NLP Life Coach. Ed certified in Integrative Breathwork and Soul-Based Psychology through the Eupsychia Institute in 2006, and in early 2007 certified in Clinical Hypnosis through the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association. Recently, he received his certification in 3D Movement and Performance Systems. In addition to working in close protocol with a chiropractor, Ed presents workshops in advanced massage techniques and breathwork. He also does one-on-one mentoring and tutoring. Ed believes learning should be fun and active and to this end has studied Brain Gym, which uses simple movements to stimulate and restore the innate ability to learn and function with curiosity and joy. Areas of instruction at A New Beginning School of Massage are Kinesiology, Anatomy, Physiology, Swedish and Advanced Techniques, Human Health and Hygiene, and Internship.


Course fee is $125 per day     6 Hours
